Dr. Jerad Meinke graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Biology and Chemistry, then earned his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in 2008. He received specialized training in Pediatric Optometry at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City — and it became his calling. He genuinely loves working with kids, even babies.
Dr. Lauren H. Meinke, OD also sees patients here. A Texas Tech graduate who earned her OD from Southern College of Optometry, she now runs Blanco River Eyecare in San Marcos — making this a true family practice in every sense.
Outside the office, Jerad is usually hiking, camping, or fishing — or talking sports with anyone who'll listen. Lauren loves to cook and entertain, enjoys music and dancing, and stays busy with the kids.
